I had a revision done for an inguinal hernia in June 2020. I had some severe pain before the revision, and afterwards, things seemed ok until about 8 months ago. I began to have some small pain near the incision site and sometimes it feels hot at the incision site. I have severe pain when having bowel movements. I noticed a bulge appear near the incision site as well. I want to contact my surgeon but I feel he doesn't have my best interest. I don't want another surgery but it seems inevitable.

I had abdominal, incisional hernia mesh repair in April, following a serious accident and open surgery a year prior. The emergency operation saved my life, but left an abdominal incision of significant length. Naturally it developed into a sizable hernia. The hernia was repaired and I experienced immediate relief and cosmetic improvement on the upper part of the incision, but the lower section remains bloated five months later. This, I'm told, is not abnormal at my stage of healing.

I had left inguinal hernia and used Desarda technique 8.5 weeks ago. It was good until last week when I strained too hard. Now I have pulling pains, it feels loose, and a small bulge is entering the scrotum. Ultrasound says 1 inch seroma but it isn't that spot that hurts me. I had hernia surgery in 2006 and that has been fine ever since. So grateful! On the other hand, the second hernia has been present for all those years and finally they are going to operate on it. It is in the belly button. Recently it started aching but hadn't been felt much earlier.

I had ventral incarcerated recurrent robotic hernia surgery on June 11th. My food tastes terrible, rotten. I'm still having some diarrhea and not normal bowel movements. I feel a light nausea, especially when I eat. Wonder if anyone else has had this happen. I'm really not that sore, just food is starting to be a nightmare to me.

I had my sigmoid removed due to diverticulitis, in 2/2020. The connection leaked and won me an ostomy. The connection leaked again 8 hours later. I had reconnection surgery in 6/2020. I started passing copious amounts of blood. Now I am scheduled in 6/21 for an incisional hernia and an inguinal hernia on the same side. I am 60 years old, scared to death and so mad I could cut down 10 large oak trees with a meat cleaver! I don't get hard anymore and at times I wish I were dead.

I had an umbilical hernia operation 3 years ago. I honestly don't recommend it. Lifting light objects moves the belly button. Doctors don't believe that your belly button can move but with some people lifting heavy objects can cause pain in your abdomen. I'm constantly having discomfort with wind, terrible cramps and heaviness in my abdomen. Please get a second opinion, I honestly wish I had and not listened to my doctor.

I am at 4 weeks post abdominal wall reconstructive surgery for hernia. I had 20x25 mesh implanted and finally starting to feel a little better. It was an old incisional scar open repair with 35 staples to close. My advice to all is to make sure you get an expert, experienced surgeon. I lost weight and walked 6-7 miles a day to get ready. I am up to 5 miles a day. I am a 68 year old male. Be positive!

I have had 2 hernia operations; over 30 years ago for the 1st one and the 2nd one was 15 years ago. It just struck me that it could be a possibility that the pain that I have been going through for the last 5 days now might be because of that. The symptom is lower left back pain close to the kidney. I thought I might be dehydrated, my urine for the last month and a half had gone to dark brown but that has gone away. I didn't have pain the 1st time nor the 2nd time until after it cleared.

I had a large incisional hernia repair (mesh used) about one month ago. The hernia developed at the incision site of an emergency abdominal surgery I underwent a year ago after a bicycle accident. Post-operation, my abdomen looks better already. There is some bruising at the lower portion of the surgical site, but nothing dramatic and it's diminishing. Biggest issue is constant mid-level pain, limited movement and bloating after even the smallest of meals. Otherwise, so far, so good.

I am a 49 year old female. I had left inguinal hernia repair with mesh 1 week ago. The burning and searing pain of the hernia is gone but now I have a throbbing and pulling ache at my lower left pubic area. And it's bruised black. The incision doesn't hurt at all. I had a left inguinal hernia operation 13 days ago. I feel pretty good, it still aches, but it is not too bad, and I walked 10 km yesterday throughout the day. It seems to be most uncomfortable sitting up. I'm a 30 year old, pretty fit male and been taking turmeric supplement for about 2 months. I wonder if this has helped as it is anti-inflammatory and has lots of other health benefits.

I had right side inguinal hernia open repair in February 2018. I have never felt right since. I now can't walk very far and physical exertion takes me a week to recover. I had a mesh repair to my large incisional hernia 13 weeks ago but it doesn't feel comfortable. I'm not in pain but my midriff is heavy and hard. I had a very big melon-shaped bulge. At present my bulge is more lateral and not so prominent but it still looks and feels abnormal. I am not sure the discomfort I'm experiencing is normal.

I had open surgery on my umbilical hernia 6 months ago. It was small, so mesh wasn't used. Recently I did some pullups and pushups and a day later I felt a mild dull pain in that area. Tomorrow I'll be 59. I had inguinal hernia mesh revision surgery on my left side on July 8th, 2020. I have testicular pain due to the mesh plug getting wrapped around the spermatic cord. Pain sometimes is very high due to the cord twisting (torsion), whenever I cross my left leg.

I am into my fourth week from surgery, after a hernia at my belly button was repaired at the same time as an emergency gallbladder removal which caused acute pancreatitis and irritation to the kidney. There is deep and radiating redness around the incision and oozing in the fourth week. The surgeon saw me and said to let her know if it was still infected in a couple of weeks. I have done that and sent photos. The other incisions have healed, but the hernia burns, hurts, and won't heal. May be long-term.

I'm years 21 of age, and I had right abdominal hernia five years ago. I started feeling nerve pain on the site plus another bulge at the left side entering my scrotum. I had hernia surgery for inguinal hernia in my groin. I woke up from surgery with swelling in my testicles and took that to be normal. I went to the doctor for my checkup a few weeks later, told him about the swelling down there and he said it was normal. Here it is 6 months later and I have hernia the size of a ping-pong ball in my right testicle that wasn't there when I went in for surgery, not normal. I'm in worse shape now than I was before and I'm afraid to let any doctors look at it again.

I had inguinal hernia and had surgery, then been 2 or 4 weeks off work post-surgery. But I have pain in my testicles on the right side, goes up beside my penis, then the left side now is hanging down 6 inches down my leg. The right one's size is a small quarter and left size is soft ball. The doctors kept me off work for a year, I lost my job and been to see 15 different doctors. Each one has a different thing to say and one did another surgery on me but it still not help. I wish I never had the surgery. I can't wear jeans because with testicles like that, they hurt more.

I had bilateral inguinal hernia repair both sides. I used ice on the areas for 2 days and then heat for 2 days. I took no pain medicines of any kind. After 3 days I have no pain, and after 5 days very slight soreness at one incision. I expect no soreness after 5 or 6 days.

I had emergency incarcerated abdominal hernia surgery on November 5, 2019. I had the hernia for about 6 years, never any problem, but it finally got incarcerated and I went to the emergency room. They did a CT scan and said surgery immediately. It's two weeks today and I'm just hanging in there. Being overweight didn't do me any help with my surgery, but the surgeon said all went well. Nine staples to close, they took them out November 15, and I'm just home healing. I am bored and still in pain, not as much though.

I had an umbilical hernia surgery repair 3 weeks ago, and the surgery was quick. I was in the hospital a couple of hours then back at home. I had 2 days of 800 mg ibuprofen before bed and in the morning, and after that the pain was very manageable. If you are thinking about doing it and you're worried, trust me, don't be. Go get it done, get it behind you, and you'll be happy you did.

I had a hernia removed 10/3/19. The hernia was small to moderate size. As of today 11/9 I still have pain around my stomach. The funny thing is that the pain was located on the opposite side of where the hernia was. Now a month later the pain is located on the side of the hernia. The pain is not debilitating but uncomfortable. Sitting lessens the pain. I do have belly fat so I need to lose some weight. I want to go back and resume all my physical activities but I don't want to strain myself.

I had a hernia (scrotum type) for about 8 years prior to surgery. It was about the size of a tennis ball. On Oct 5th, 2019 it became strangulated, the worst pain I have ever felt in my life (and I've had a few kidney stones to compare it to). It is now October 18th, 13 days after surgery. The 3 inch incision just below my waistline is a little swollen, and the area in my scrotum where the hernia used to be is swollen to about the size of a tennis ball. The doctor said last week it is only swelling.

I had a bilateral inguinal hernia repair done 6 weeks ago and now virtually fully recovered. It was uncomfortable for the first week or so and after a few days I had some alarming bruising of my penis and testicles that took a few weeks to go. Built up some walking gradually after the first week. Checked everything was working as it should after 2 weeks - gently at first but now back to a normal sex life. Still not doing any heavy lifting but no pain or discomfort at all now.

I had umbilical hernia repair surgery done August of this year. It was done laparoscopic, no mesh. A week later I was still having drainage and some bleeding. I went to the emergency room and was told drainage was ok, it was due to a seroma and would stop soon; and also that the incision opened a bit but not to worry. I saw the surgeon a few weeks after surgery and was told the wound was still open and draining, but they don't need to re-close it, I'll be fine. Here it is almost two months later, it's still open, and draining.

It is 3 weeks today since I had robotic incisional hernia repair. Everything has been healing good except for last night. Not sure if I pulled, twisted or what. I had hernia surgery when I was under two years old. I have had no problems with pain in that area until now. I am now 45 years old and for some three months now I have had a burning sub-dermal pain beneath the stitch scar. It's starting to get worse and more persistent. I had incisional hernia repair surgery, robotic, using mesh about 3 weeks ago. The hernia was in my middle upper abdomen where when sitting I would bend. About three months ago, I underwent inguinal hernia repair. The surgery went pretty well and it seemed like I healed really quickly. I am a fairly fit person, not obese and I am very active with my job and with my personal life. Now whenever I do anything strenuous like lift something heavy or run, I get into a lot of pain in the area where the hernia is and it feels like my testicle is being squeezed. The surgeon has given up at this point and referred me to a pain management specialist.

I had a liver transplant in 2007 and developed a hernia. Therefore, on June 27, 2019 my liver transplant doctor did an incisional hernia repair. I used to look like I was three months pregnant. People constantly asked me when I was due, or said congratulations! My transplant surgeon told me he did not use any mesh because my muscles were already super strong but separated. He stated I had hernias inside of hernias and some fluid. I want to know why my stomach is still big.

I am a 49 years old female diabetic. I had umbilical hernia repair and gallbladder removal surgery on July 12, 2019. I am 10 days post operation and my belly is still very swollen and very painful. I just had my 6th hernia repair surgery. One lower left inguinal, 1 umbilical, and 4 lower right hernia repairs (revisions on top of revisions). The pain is the scrotum is pretty normal. It does go away with time. What I've also learned is no matter how strong or in shape you are, it can also be a genetic defect. I am very active and in shape. I have also had all three types of surgery, open, laparoscopic, and now robotic. All hurt equally as bad! Hang in there, gents. It all heals. Things won't seem right, but will heal.

I got my hernia while splitting heavy logs. At emergency room in the hospital I was in lots of pain and nowhere to lie down. Finally, I got in and within 5 minutes pain went away. I just had umbilical (no mesh) and right inguinal (mesh) hernia open repair 10 days ago. First 2 days post-operation were very painful. Umbilical incision is fine. Right inguinal incision is worrying me. It hurts to move my leg or walk. By hurt, I mean very uncomfortable. I feel like 10 days post-operation, I should be almost pain-free. I had hernia surgery almost 8 weeks ago. I am still having terrible belly pain around the belly button and burning. I had laparoscopic hernia surgery after having a small bowel resection surgery. I had a hernia surgery above my belly button 5 weeks ago. I had hernia from a previous surgery and the hernia was huge. I am still having burning, sharp, doubled over pain and fever. I was told by my doctor this was one of the most painful surgeries he does and I should be healed up in 8 weeks. I had open surgery for an umbilical hernia repair almost 3 weeks ago. For the first 5 days I was in absolute agony until I had a large seroma leak from the wound which frightened me to death but on a pain scale of 0-10 the pain went down to a 2. The seroma was rupturing through the wound on a daily basis for a week or so but it has gradually got less and now the wound has dried up the leaking has stopped.

I am a pretty fit, slim non-smoking man, 46 years of age. I used to run 3 times a week before surgery and carry out other exercise. I had bi-lateral, inguinal hernia surgery 6 months ago; I had two, 2 inch incisions about an inch or so above my penis either side of my lower abdomen and the repair was carried out using mesh. My hernia repairs appear to have healed fine following the surgery, but I do still have swelling and soreness on either side and just above my testicles. My problem, since the surgery, I have an overactive (if that's possible) cremasteric reflex and my testicles spend most of the day ascended in my abdomen. I believe, but don't know for sure that this is due to scar tissue affecting/shortening my spermatic chord. I feel like my testicles are constantly being squashed! I had a consultation/examination with the surgeon last week and he has said it is fine and is just taking a while to heal. I can't run at the moment and I limit all physical activity as much as possible; it just leads to more pain/swelling. I would love to know when my testicles will go back to normal and when I'll be able to run again.

I had ventral hernia repair almost 5 weeks ago. I don't know what caused it, I am not overweight and in pretty good shape. I was on pain medicines oxycodone for 3 days then ibuprofen for about 5 days. Gradually after about a week the pain began to subside. End of second week I went for exercise walks. I still experience slight pain in the surgery area around navel and mesh area. Mesh area near belt line is a little puffy and swollen. Doctor gave me limitations of 20 lb lifting after the 2 weeks. I have been off of work the whole time. I will be going back to the doctor today for a nod to go back to work after 5 weeks. A little worried about work requirements like lifting, pushing, pulling, etc. We'll see today.

I had umbilical hernia repair 3 weeks ago. It went well. I had bearable pain for the first 5 days and after that was almost pain free. I took it easy for the first week and then gradually got back to normal. I walked every day and took painkillers for the first few days. I feel so much better now that the hernia has been repaired and would advise anyone with a hernia to have this operation.

On June 6, 2015 I had to have a hernia repair done. The year before I had colon cancer and had a resection done, in the same area I developed a large hernia that stuck out from stomach on the right side. I had an 8 inch hole that they had to repair. They pulled all of the muscles in the area together and put two layers of mesh on it to hold it together. It is now September 4th, 2015 and I am still in pain. The area is hard and if I move wrong the pain causes me to double over. They said that the type of repair that I had done was going to be very painful. I have been back to the doctors and they are saying that I have nerve damage and put me on Lyrica to help with the pain. It does help but I am in pain every day at work at home and trying to move in my sleep is a joke. I am at my wits' end I just don't know what to do and I am so tired of being in pain all the time.

I had bilateral inguinal hernias repaired surgically some 10 days ago, laparoscopic keyhole surgery with nylon mesh inserted. All holding together so far. There is bruising and soreness under the belly button where the main incision took place. Further down feels fine. I am slowly building up my activity level but without the heavy lifting. I am trying to avoid coughing and sneezing as these can be painful. Two weeks off work with plenty of lying down is helping with the recovery. I anticipate it will be around 6 weeks before I hop back on my road bike for a decent cycle.

In February 2020, I had my sigmoid part of the colon removed. Six days later it leaked, which won me an ileostomy bag via emergency surgery. Eight hours later, it was leaking again, and opened up for the third time for a second clean out via emergency surgery. June 5, 2020 I had ileostomy reversal surgery. Six weeks later I was passing blood. Back to the hospital 'under observation,' followed with colonoscopy. April 2021, I developed incisional hernia and inguinal hernia. Both are repaired now, July 2021, with mesh and on the same side. Now I have lots of pain!

I had diverticulitis and had surgery to remove sigmoid. The connection started leaking and I had an emergency surgery. This won me an ostomy bag, and it started leaking again 8 hours later. I was back into emergency surgery, in hospital for 3 weeks, and finally a reversal surgery which left a lump where the ostomy was. Two weeks after, at home I was passing massive blood, lump was growing and 9 months later an inguinal hernia has formed. The lump is an incisional hernia. Now more surgery! I am scared to death and am so mad! I am 60.

I had a left robotic inguinal hernia surgery 4 weeks ago, and am still experiencing a sore left testicle and nausea on a daily basis. I wonder if nausea is a common side effect after this type of surgery.

About 6 months ago I had 3 open surgeries at one time. I had hernia, esophagus and belly button hernia. I had that heartburn so they put a rubber band around my esophagus while they removed the hernia in my esophagus and removed the hernia in my belly button. I'm still having severe pain in my stomach like razor blades. I know this is not normal and don't know what I should do.

I had hernia repair surgery on the 18th September, 2020. It is swelling even on the top of the line (on the cut). I have pains that feels like period pains most of the time. I also have abnormal pains in the navel.

I'm 8 weeks post inguinal hernia surgery. I feel bloated still and just under my belly it feels bruised. It still hurts when moving around. I wonder if this is normal or if I should be worried.

Four days ago I had my hernia located above the belly button done through incisional surgery. I have been up walking around since I woke up from the operation. The pain at times can be hard and even 4 days after, it is still inflamed to the point of not being able to stand up completely straight, which is causing backache. I have taken the pressure dressing off on day 2 but haven't touched the surgical dressing as yet with it being stuck to the scab that has formed, so I'm soaking it when I feel comfortable.

This is my 3rd hernia repair surgery and it's not nearly as painful as the umbilical one was. I was told not to bend over for 4 weeks, instead squat, and no lifting over 5 pounds.

I had umbilical hernia repair (open) surgery 6 weeks ago, and mesh was used. I wonder if it is normal to still feel like it is "bruised". I also have a pulling sensation, can almost say it feels like the internal stitches pulling where I assume the top of the mesh is placed. This is my 3rd umbilical hernia repair, but the first time with mesh, so obviously over-paranoid.

I had a hernia surgery, right inguinal hernia surgery, in September 2019. Now after the surgery it's been about 6 months, and my belly button is sticking out 3 inches, the size of a golf ball. That was where one of their incision cuts were and also I have fluid buildup from the mesh that is the size of a tennis ball. Also my stomach doesn't digest food right and my stomach is always sticking out.

I had inguinal hernia repair laparoscopic surgery 3 weeks back. I had cramps for the first 2 days but they went away. After four days I had pain in my testicles and scrotum area and the doctor said that this is normal and to continue to take painkillers. After one week the pain became considerably better. After 2 weeks I started to do pushups and recovery was generally going fine. After 3 weeks I noticed that swelling and pain has returned in the mesh repair area in the groin.

I am a 70 year old female, in good shape. I have survived two cancers, having my cecum removed, and a Caesarean section. This pain from hernia removal surgery is the worst I have ever had. I was not informed or prepared. Ask lots of questions!

I had umbilical hernia surgery 4 weeks ago with a small mesh implanted under my navel. I feel a rubbing sensation under my navel that is causing pain and burning sensation to my penis. It is extremely uncomfortable and gets worse when I walk and sit down. My surgeon doesn't know why I am having these symptoms as he said I am healing well and no tenderness to the navel area. I don't have a urinary tract infection but am taking antibiotics as a precaution. Wonder if anyone has had similar symptoms.

I had an umbilical hernia repair less than a year ago. The mesh has popped and now I have another hernia which has been so painful from before I had the hernia repaired. I'm 60 and have so many health issues but found a surgeon to repair it and then he decided not to, right before surgery. MRIs and CT scans do not show this hernia that needs to be repaired. You just know. My hernia is sticking out again and so very painful, like another person said on here; I can't eat either.

I had an umbilical hernia repair on 05/06/2019. Everything was going well and the pain was gone but after 2 months the pain started again. I'm swollen on the navel where the hernia was repaired. I guess I should call the doctor again.

I had the same sort of hernia, 28 mm on one side and 36 on the other just above my groin. I had mesh put in over 12 months ago and at the moment on one side I can't stand on my leg. I am not sure if I should go to the hospital.

I had hernia umbilical surgery in March 2019, and spent a night in the hospital because I was in terrible pain. I also couldn't feel my legs. It's June now and l have swelling and tenderness above the incision, not sure why. I have 15 pound weight restriction from my doctor. They are going to do ultra sound. My incision is beautiful, but Inside is still sore.

I had ventral hernia surgery repair on March 1. I finally went back to work on April 22. I still have pain in my abdomen, and when I lift something a little heavy, I get sharp pains on and off in my abdomen. I want to return to my exercise routine, but unfortunately I am not ready yet. This is taking a lot longer than I expected to fully recover!

On August 2, 2018 I had hernia surgery. Now over 4 weeks later, I had 2 hernias removed, and mesh put over one left in. My stomach still hurts and I hurt if I bend. I'm calling my doctor on Monday. I thought I would be back to myself by now.

I had ventral hernia surgery done in July 2017 and I never feel like I am pain free. My abdomen feels sore and now my lower back and lower abdominal pain have got worse. I cannot eat a proper meal, I eat very little food. I think my doctor need to do CT scan to find out what is wrong. I am so sick and tired being sick. I used to walk one hour and do yoga, but now I am not able to do my yoga.

I had my hernia surgery in the year of 2014 and have recovered very well thanks to the Asante program. What started my hernia was when I was on my motorcycle, the front tire went down and I was out on the freeway when that happened. I had a big semi freightliner behind and I didn't have control of my motorcycle and so I kicked with my foot on the pavement and the bike went to the side of the freeway and I finally got it under control. In about 2 weeks after that when I was standing out in the yard a sharp pain hit me and I discovered I had a hernia. I lived with it for 15 years until finally decided to have surgery done when it started to get strangled, but now it is fine, no problem.

After the hernia operation I still have a big bulge in the middle that was not there before. I don't know how to get rid of the bulge. I would not have the surgery again if I knew this was going to happen.

Yes I had a hernia fixed, that was caused by having another surgery. It's back. It's been bothering me, I went to the surgeon and he said I have to lose weight. He won't do anything. I've got to get at least 20 pounds off; that's easy for him to say.

I'm recovering after a very large hernia repair which was part of bowel intestine and stomach this was after a C section that a hospital messed up and ended up with this hernia. The operation itself took me well over a year to get to and now I've had it done. I feel so much better. I have mesh inside 6cm of mesh I don't know it's there. It's 4 weeks tomorrow since my operation and after having MRSA with this hernia operation it's still all ok. Fingers crossed but I'm not doing anything no lifting no bending or stretching a little walking but with 2 little ones under 3 doing nothing it is hard. I can't wait to get back to normal!

My hernia was caused by radiation therapy for cancer. I had a hole between the rectum and vagina from the pellet radiation. This caused me to have a colostomy which ended in a hernia on my left side below my belly button. I was constantly having blockages in great pain, when finally I saw a surgeon about repairing the hernia and the intestines. About 4 hours of surgery, the hernia was repaired. A few months later it came back and is now even larger. I cannot eat raw vegetables plus many cooked ones. They refuse to touch me again as I have had too many surgeries and scar tissue. I still have the blockages but it is caused by scar tissue tearing when I move wrong. I am on disability due to the chemo causing nerve damage to my feet plus I cannot bend over as I can cause scar tissue to tear and I am sick all over again. I can take pain medication and xenox if I can keep it down. If not a suppository to knock me out is the only answer. So I think you should really weigh all options. I know I would never do the radiation pellets as I believe I would have been ok as this was just overkill. Although, I am alive and lots aren't with stage 4 cancer and it is over 5 years. I just think the treatment can do tons of damage and my whole life has changed. I hope this helps someone.

I recently had a hernia repaired. It was in the bellybutton area. The doctor cut around my bellybutton it was quick and not as painful as I thought. I had more pain before the repair than after surgery. I'm glad I had it repaired so that I can go back to my usual physical activity.

I wonder how it feels when a hernia comes through the tear in the muscle. I am being checked for a hernia next week but I don't think it's a hernia. When I get the symptoms the muscle in my stomach cramps, and I have to stretch and apply pressure to the spot. Yes it does sound like a hernia but the pain is not how it's explained how it should be. It is the same pain as when you get a cramp.

I cannot have surgery for my hernia, as I have cirrhosis and the doctors at the liver clinic say it will be too dangerous. It's getting bigger, and as a vegan I eat fruit, fruit seems to bring on nasty pains. Wondering if I must not eat fruit which is a part of my diet.

I have an umbilical hernia and have been doing research on different kinds of repair. For all of you who have mesh and are still in pain, I would recommend you consult a physician who does non-mesh hernia repair. I have read many testimonies from people who were in chronic pain after a mesh repair, who later had the mesh removed and were no longer in pain and were able to lead normal active lives.

I had umbilical hernia surgery one week ago on 5/13/15. After surgery no one came and talked to me about the surgery and what they did and found. I was provided a small amount of medicines for recovery and oh yeah, this is my 7th surgery on my abdomen area. I called doctor's office and was told that no more medicines would be prescribed as I was given enough until my post operation 1 week later. I was told by the chief to purchase Tylenol and take that for my pain and go to the emergency room (ER) to be evaluated. No one brought me back in early to re-evaluate my situation. Feet and legs are swollen and I have severe cramping in my legs post operation. I was told that my procedure didn't warrant more pain medications as I should not be in pain and the pain I had was not surgical pain, and to call my primary doctor since he was seeing me for chronic abdomen pain. Primary doctor called the surgeon but the surgeon does not feel my pain is surgery related and said to take Motrin. I did go to the ER 4 days after surgery as I could not stand the pain any longer. Surgeon said 36 Percocet were more than enough for the procedure I had. I don't know what to do or where to go from here.
